Restorative Yoga & Therapeutic Adaptations

Explore the healing art of Restorative Yoga and the power of therapeutic adaptations to asana. In this 30-hour immersion, you’ll learn how stillness, rest, and mindful support of the body can serve as medicine for the nervous system, helping to regulate stress, balance energy, and create a deep sense of safety and ease within the body-mind.
You’ll leave this training equipped to:
Lead a complete Restorative Yoga class
Integrate therapeutic adaptations into group and private settings
Create a safe, inclusive environment for a diverse range of students and conditions
What to Expect
Group sessions provide focused, personalized attention, creating a supportive environment where participants connect and engage meaningfully. These sessions are tailored to the group, encourage individual exploration, and enhance the overall group experience through shared insight and collaboration.
Our time together will blend education and embodiment. Each session includes guided restorative practice, group discussion, partner work, and creative exploration. Evening sessions throughout the month allow time for integration, teaching practice, and mentorship support.
Training Schedule
At the completion of this module, you’ll receive 30 hours of continuing education applicable toward This Land Yoga’s 300-hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training or as Yoga Alliance CE hours.

This Land Yoga’s program consists of immersive modules, each ranging from 10–30 hours in length. Each module is taught in person and led by our team of experienced teachers, offering a rich blend of embodied practice, academic study, and mentorship. This modular approach provides both depth and flexibility, allowing you to explore specific areas of interest while continuing to grow as a teacher, practitioner, and student of yoga.
